Gov’s Representative In Assembly Dumps APC, Joins NDC

THE member representing Gwale Constituency in the Kano State House of Assembly, Abdulmajid Isa Umar Mai Rigar Fata, on Thursday, May 21, defected form the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
The action of the lawmaker, who represents Governor Abba Yusuf’s state constituency in the Assembly, was borne out of his failure to secure a return ticket under APC.
Fata and a former vice chairman of the local council, Kabiru Sani Auwal Obi, who also joined the NDC, were formally received into the party by a chieftain and former governor of the state, Rabiu Kwankwaso, at his Abuja residence.
