A RIDER of commercial tricycle, otherwise known as Keke Marwa, in Lagos has committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree following his inability to retrieve his means of livelihood, which was impounded by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
His Keke Marwa was reportedly impounded, ostensibly for traffic offence, and taken away from him by LASTMA officials. When the officials refused to release his tricycle after days of begging them to release it, being his only means of livelihood, he decided to end it all in front of LASTMA office at Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
At press time, his identity remained uncertain.
