Tinubu Returns To Abuja After Eid-el-Kabir Break

PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, June 2, returned to Abuja after the Eid-el-Kabir holidays in Lagos, where he also engaged in political, governmental and diplomatic meetings.
Tinubu arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, about 5:17 p.m. and was received by senior government officials, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike; his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu; Inspector General of Police (IGP), Tunji Disu; and other top government officials.
While in Lagos, Tinubu hosted political leaders and stakeholders, who paid him the traditional Eid-el-Kabir homage, including Vice President Kashim Shettima and the leadership of the National Assembly, led by Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), led by its Chairman and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; APC leaders, candidates and stakeholders from Oyo and Lagos states.
Tinubu also held talks with President of Benin Republic, Romuald Wadagni, on enduring ties of friendship, regional cooperation and economic partnership between both countries, enhancing cross-border trade and strengthening collaborative efforts in addressing regional challenges.
