DELTA State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Councils of Delta State University, Abraka, with Gen. Alexander Ogomudia (rtd) as Chairman.

    Other members include Doris Ejinyere; Martins Okonta; Ben Igbakpa and Andrew Odum (SAN), as well as Peter Yerinde Biakpara; Usiwoma Evowoma-Enuku and Terry Noah, whose tenure are still running. 

The Governing Council of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, has Oghene-aga Andrew Orugbo as Chairman, with Friday Omoko; Ighoyota Lucky; A.C. Okocha and Felicia Adowei-Ajagu as members.

That of Delta State Polytechnic, Burutu, has J.T. Government as Chairman, while other members are Ighovojah David; Solomon Emeke and Celestina Ewesuode; Andrew Ekakite.

The Governing Council of College of Physical Education, Mosogar, is to be chaired by Sunny A. Emeyese, with Victor Omagbemi Agbateyiniro; Mary Chidi and Ugbune Ogheneovo as members.

The governor has also approved the appointment into Delta State Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises Development Agency, with Henry Sakpra as Chairman, Godwin Adolor as Executive Secretary, and Sunny Omovie, Helen Obiageli Okonkwo and Matthew Uduaghan as members. 

    Lucky Oghene Umoru is to serve as Chairman of

Delta State Investment Development Agency (DIDA) and Anthony Elekeokwuri as Director General. 

    A statement signed by the Secretary to State Government (SSG), Kingsley Emu, said their inauguration would be announced in due course.
