DELTA State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of Dr. Minimim Oseji as Head of Service (HoS).
This follwed the retirement of Mr. Reginald Bayoko, who occupied the office for almost nine years.
According to a statement by the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, Mrs. Oseji, a medical doctor, was until her appointment, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, and was previously Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health.
The new HoS, who was married to the late Supreme Court Justice, Justice Chukwudumebi Oseji, was elected the 22nd National President of Medical Women’s Association of Nigerian (MWAN) in 2020.
The new Head of Service would be sworn in on Monday, March 31.
