NAF Aircraft Crashes In Kaduna

A SUPER Mushak trainer aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has crash landed in Kaduna State.

It was gathered that the incident occurred around 2.35pm on Thursday, March 7, about 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna military airfield.

Two pilots, according to NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, were involved in the crash while returning from a routine training flight.

Although both pilots came out of the crash unhurt, Gabkwet said the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, had ordered a preliminary investigation to ascertain the immediate cause of the crash.
