YAKUBU Chonoko Maikyau, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has been elected as the 36th president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
Maikyau polled 22,342 votes to emerged during NBA elections held on Saturday, July 16 to defeat two other contenders, Chairman of the NBA Securities Agencies Relations Committee, Joe-Kyari Gadzama (SAN) and a former general secretary of the association, Jonathan Taidi.
