*Says Ready To Be Held Accountable For Her Actions
NIGERIAN brand influencer and businesswoman, Mukoro Michelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, has publicly apologised to several prominent figures she argued with and offended online recently.
In a widely shared emotional video posted on March 13, King Mitchy knelt and showed deep regret for her actions.
Speaking directly to Seyi, son of President Bola Tinubu, she said: “I’m so sorry, sir. I disrespected you publicly, so I want to apologise publicly.”
She also apologised to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunnusi, acknowledging his royal status and asking for forgiveness.
And to social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM), King Mitchy said: “VeryDarkMan, my brother, I’m very sorry for coming at you the way I did. Now I understand what you’re fighting for- a better Nigeria. I’m sorry, my brother.”
She also apologised to all Nigerians, admitting her mistakes and acknowledging that her controversial actions led to widespread criticism, expressing regret , as well as readiness to be held accountable and for letting down those who supported her charity works.
Recall that a few weeks earlier, King Mitchy had questioned how VDM managed public donations for his non-governmental organisation (NGO) after highlighting her own quick school renovation project.
VDM, in his response, accused her of being used to improve Tinubu’s public image, claiming Seyi had secretly supported her lifestyle and charity work since 2023.
Seyi promptly denied the allegations, insisting he met Mitchy only once publicly in support of her work and refused to be bullied.
The feud escalated as Mitchy reportedly lost her business page due to mass reports.
However, during a shocking livestream, Mitchy consumed Hypo (bleach), a harmful substances used for washing, thereby raising public alarm and even spreading false death rumours.
