THE Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), on Wednesday, June 18, held a closed door meeting with the National Security Adviser (NSA) to the President, Nuhu Ribadu, and Minister of Defence, Mohammed Abubakar, in Abuja.
Also in attendance at the meeting held under the leadership of NGF Chairman, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, at the NGF Secretariat, governors of Anambra, Akwa-Ibom, Oyo, Kwara, Osun, Plateau, Lagos, Nasarawa, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Kogi, Ondo, Imo, Cross-River, Ogun and Edo states.
Though the agenda was not disclosed, it might not be unconnected with insecurity in the country, as it was gathered that the minister and NSA briefed the governors on the current situation.
The outcome of the meeting was yet to be disclosed.
