Family Announces Passage Of Patriarch, Adekunle Ojora

THE Ojora family of Lagos has announced the death of its patriarch, Otunba Adekunle Ojora, the Otunba of Lagos and Lisa of Ife, at the age of 93.
The family, in a statement released on Wednesday, January 28, and signed by Mrs. Toyin Ojora Saraki, daughter, on behalf of the family, said Ojora passed on in the early hours of the day, submitting to the will of Almighty Allah (SWT).
The statement read in part: “We say Alhamdulillahi for a life well lived and we comply with Allah’s words, ‘Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return’ (Qur’an 2:156).”
Ojora, according to the family, will be buried in Lagos in accordance with Islamic rites.
