THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested six senior officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) over alleged N6billion fraud.
The officers, who were being interrogated by operatives at the Commission’s headquarters in Jabi, Abuja, were handed released to the EFCC on Monday, May 6, on the order of the NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Audi.
It was gathered that the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, had earlier written a letter to the NSCDC CG, demanding the release of the officers for interrogation over the alleged fraud.
