THE new Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2 Command, Onikan in Lagos, comprising Lagos and Ogun states, Mr. Olatoye Durosinmi, has assumed duty.
A statement by the Zonal Public Relations Officer (ZPRO), Mr. Tunni Ayuba, said on Tuesday, February 6, in Lagos: “Durosinmi succeeded AIG Ari Mohammed Ali, who has been deployed as the AIG in-charge of Community Policing, Force Headquarters Abuja.”
She stated that Durosinmi was born on August 19, 1964 and hails from Ayetoro in Yewa North Local Council of Ogun State, adding: “He is a vastly experienced Police officer who has attended several courses both at home and abroad.
“His posting is aimed at achieving the IGP’s vision statement for emplacing a modern Police Force that is professional, secure and rule of law compliant from his wealth of experience. ”
