APC Extends Membership e-registration By One Week, Adjusts Congresses

THE ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended its electronic membership registration from January 31 to February 8.
A statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Friday, January 30, said the extension was to enable more supporters and members to register and validate their membership.
Morka disclosed that Ward Congresses would hold on Wednesday, February 18, while the National Convention is now scheduled to be held on March 27 and 28.
He explained that Osun State, Ekiti states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) were excluded from the congresses due to upcoming elections, and Rivers State due to the subsisting tenure of the current executive committees.
Morka added: “Further details on the adjusted congress and national convention timetable and schedule of activities and composition of the National Convention Planning Committee will be announced in due course.”
