PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu departs Abuja on Wednesday, October 2 for the United Kingdom (UK) to begin a two-week vacation as part of his yearly leave.

This is just two weeks after he returned to Nigeria from the UK, where he had stopped over on his way from China. While there, a viral video showed the President exiting a private hospital in London, raising speculations about reasons for his visit.

His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said in a terse statement on Wednesday, October 2, that the President would “use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.”

He is scheduled to return to Nigeria at the expiration of the leave.
