*Orders Contractor To Refund N20bn Mobilisation Fee
THE Rivers State Executive Council, at its meeting presided over by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, on Thursday, October 16, canceled the N134 billion contract awarded for the reconstruction of the ageing State Secretariat Complex in Port Harcourt by the former sole administrator, Vice Admiral Ikot Ete Ibas (rtd).
The Council also directed the company awarded the project by Ibas, CCECC, to refund the N20billion mobilisation fee it has already received.
