THE decomposing remains of a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Justice Azuka, who was kidnapped on Tuesday, December 24, last year on Ugwunaobankpa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha, on his way home have been discovered at the 2nd Niger Bridge by a combined security team.
Azuka was kidnapped at gunpoint during an operation that lasted less than five minutes.
It was gathered that his decomposing body had been retrieved after the suspects, who were arrested on Wednesday night, February 5, took security operatives to the spot where it was dumped after killing him.
Spokesman for the Anambra State Police Command, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga (SP), was yet to issues any statement on the development at press time.
