A RECENT viral video had shown Nigerians queuing up in Lagos, with soldiers direct them in batches to receive a loaf of bread per person, courtesy of individuals wearing customised President Bola Tinubu and APC stakeholder T-shirts.
Thousands of Nigerians were seen in the video struggling to get loaves of bread being shared by chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State on Tuesday, October 1 to mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
A popular blogger, thetattleroomng, captioned the video on Instagram: “Lagosians seen queuing up amid strong security to receive bread in celebration of Nigeria Independence Day.”
This attracted harsh comments from other Nigerians, who attributed the current economic hardship to the policies of the Tinubu administration, bemoaning how low citizens have been reduced.
Recall that some Nigerians held protests against bad governance from August 3 to 10 and on October 1.
