PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in the new Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack.
This followed the retirement of her predecessor, Mrs. Folasade Yemi-Esan.
The ceremony, preceding the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, also saw a valedictory session for the outgoing head of service.
Speaking during the swearing in, Tinubu told the the new Head of Service that she was stepping into a big shoe left behind by her predecessor and prayed that God would give her the wisdom to lead.
Yemi-Esan was appointed as acting head of civil service of the federation by the former President Muhammadu Buhari on September 18, 2019.
