Binance Fugitive Who Fled Nigeria In Kenyan Police Custody

Published:

THE Police authorities in Kenya have confirmed the arrest of Nadeem Anjarwalla, the Binance executive who escaped from lawful custody and fled Nigeria last month while awaiting trail following the Federal Government’s crackdown on the cryptocurrency platform.

While the government later traced the British-Kenyan to the East African country, it has now been confirmed that Anjarwalla was now in the custody of the Kenyan Police, awaiting extradition back to Nigeria to face trial, along with a colleague, who has already been arraigned along with the company.

Following his escape from Nigeria, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the International Criminal Police (Interpol), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and the Kenyan Police Service have been holding talks on his extradition Anjarwalla.
