Names VJ Adams As Host

LEADING youth entertainment brand, MTV Base, is set to premiere the second season of the highly anticipated music game show, Know Your Music, which is set to captivate audiences worldwide each week.
The exciting and interactive television game show, which is to be hosted by award-winning Video Jockey and Founder of Content King Studio, Adams Ibrahim Adebola, popularly known as VJ Adams, would be broadcast every Sunday at 8pm, beginning from January 21 on MTV Base, DStv Channel 322 and GOtv Channel 72.
Speaking about about the show, Senior Channels Manager of Paramount, owners of MTV Base, Busola Komolafe, said: “Know Your Music is not just a show; it’s an immersive experience that celebrates the universal language of music.
“Contestants will engage in a thrilling showdown of musical knowledge across three captivating segments- Celeb Real Names, Finish the Lyrics and Music Genius.”
According to Komolafe, the show promises a harmonious blend of music education, fun and rewards, with every winner going home with N100,000.
“The global conversation around Afrobeat has intensified, with artistes like Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido dominating the international music scene. Know Your Music offers more than just entertainment; it provides a platform for music enthusiasts to connect with music while having fun,” she added.
Komolafe noted that the new season, in collaboration with VJ Adams, is more proof of the MTV Base commitment to delivering engaging content, with music at its centre, adding that Know Your Music speaks to the power of partnerships in creating unique and entertaining experiences.
“VJ Adams, a respected figure in entertainment, will guide viewers through this musical journey with his infectious energy and extensive musical expertise.
