THE immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has officially handed over the reigns of leadership to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
At a brief handover ceremony about 4pm in Monday, May 29at the Governor’s Office at Government House, Asaba, Okowa prayed for the new governor before the official handover, saying he was confident Oborevwori would deliver on his M.O.R.E Agenda for the people of the state.
The official handover ceremony featured signing of relevant handover documents and the official presentation to Oborevwori by Okowa.
The handover ceremony was witnessed by Head of Service, Mr. Reginald Bayoko; Permanent Secretary, Government House, Sir Eddy Ogidi-Gbegbaje, among others.
