Oborevwori Congratulates Orubebe At 67

DELTA State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated former minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, on his 67th birthday, recalling the significant role he played in advancing infrastructure and development initiatives across the oil-rich region.
Oborevwori, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, on Saturday, June 6, described Orubebe as a distinguished statesman, accomplished public servant and respected leader, whose contributions to the development of the region and Delta State remain remarkable.
The governor commended Orubebe’s years of dedicated service to Nigeria, saying his wealth of experience and wise counsel continue to serve as valuable assets to the state and the country at large.
“As he celebrates this milestone, I pray that God grants him continued good health, strength, wisdom, and many more years of fruitful service to humanity,” the governor stated, wishing him a joyous celebration and continued fulfilment in all his endeavours.
Similarly, Oborevwori felicitated the member representing Isoko South Constituency II in the state House of Assembly, Ferguson Onwo, on the occasion of his 60th birth anniversary, describing the former majority leader as a committed grassroots politician whose contributions to the development of his constituency and the state have remained remarkable.
The governor said the Olomoro-born politician has distinguished himself in public service through effective representation, dedication to the welfare of his constituents and unwavering commitment to democratic governance, recalling his outstanding performance as chairman of the House Committee on Health, saying he has continued to deploy his legislative experience and oversight functions toward strengthening the state’s health sector.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate Onwo on the occasion of his 60th birth anniversary.
“As he celebrates this significant milestone, I join his family, friends, political associates and the people of Isoko South Constituency II in thanking God for his life and praying for continued good health, wisdom and greater accomplishments in the years ahead,” he stated.
In the same vein, the governor congratulated Pastor Adekunle Emmanuel Ojo of Living Faith Church, Egba, Benin City, who he described as an impactful servant of God, whose dedication to the advancement of Christianity and the spiritual growth of countless believers has continued to inspire many, on his 60th birthday,
Oborevwori particularly acknowledged Ojo’s role as the pastor of the Living Faith Church in Osubi, saying his ministry left an enduring legacy of faith, service and community development.
He said Ojo’s commitment to preaching the gospel, mentoring the younger generation and promoting moral values had positively influenced lives across different communities, applauding his humility, integrity and steadfast devotion to the work of God.
The governor describing Ojo as a worthy example of selfless leadership in the body of Christ, noting that his life has been marked by remarkable service to God and humanity, while his contributions to Christendom remain invaluable.
While wishing him continued good health, divine grace and greater accomplishments in the Lord’s vineyard, Oborevwori prayed that God would grant him many more fruitful years of impactful ministry and service.
