Tinubu Appoints Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu Foreign Affairs Minister

PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has appointed Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of Foreign Affairs, following the resignation of Yusuf Tuggar to contest next year’s Bauchi State governorship election.
Odumegwu-Ojukwu, a former ambassador to Switzerland, was Minister of State in the ministry until he elevation.
The President also nominated Sola Enikanolaiye as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, subject to confirmation by the senate.
Until his nomination, Enikanolaiye was Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations.
A career diplomat with over three decades of service in the foreign service, served as permanent secretary in the ministry oand diplomatic postings in Addis Ababa, Belgrade, Ottawa, London and New Delhi.
